Proximity Switch:
MS8885B 8-Channel capacitive switch digitally detects capacitance change on a remote sensing plate. Static capacitance changes are automatically compensated using continuous auto-calibration. Remote sensing plates connect to the IC via coaxial cable.
MS8885 suits keypad, matrix & slider applications up to 8x8 matrix (2 chips cascaded). Product highlights are ultra-low 10µA power consumption (sleep mode <100nA), easy implementation via dedicated I2C interface and small size bare die form factor.
