The LM2940-6V positive voltage regulator sources 1A output current with a typical dropout voltage of 0.5V & max 1V over the military temperature range. Quiescent current is lowered by design to 30mA at 1A output current and I/O differential of 5V.

This device is designed to operate across the full military temperature range and is well suited for high reliability applications. The device features a wide input voltage range and is optimized for low quiescent current consumption.
