LM140K-12 3-terminal fixed 12V positive regulator supplies >= 1.5A of current & requires only x1 external compensation capacitor at the output. Overload immunity features include internal current limiting, safe-area compensation + thermal shutdown.

This device suits hybrid & MCM designers needing high reliability with fixed 12V positive voltage regulation. This bare die replaces National (NSC) or Texas Instruments (TI) LM140K-12, LM340K-12, LM140KG-12 and LM140KG-12 MD8.
