The 7809 9-Volt positive regulator delivers 1.5A output current & is ruggedized with internal current limiting, thermal shut-down & safe area protection. No external components are needed other than to enhance performance & design flexibility.
Suiting hybrid & MCM designers needing high reliability with fixed 9V positive voltage regulation. This bare die directly replaces National (TI) LM7809, UA7809, UA78M09 & Motorola (MOT) or ON Semi MC7809 or MCC7809.
